Information - Jays Little Truck

• Depending on store policy, where we have been hired to pick up items from a retail store you/we may be required to show proof of purchase before the item(s) can be picked up.
• Where items have been purchased privately, all purchases should be finalised prior to pick up.  We will not pay for goods prior to (or at the point of) picking up your item(s).
• We are not a disassembly or assembly service.  If dissembled please ensure your item(s) is/are complete and packaged in a way that there is no way individual items can be lost or damaged.
• Please ensure the item(s) is/are ready for pick up at (or around) the scheduled time.
• Please ensure that someone is available to take delivery of your item(s) at the agreed delivery time.
• We do not handle any dangerous goods that require any special handling/transport permits.
  
• We do not transport live animals.

Mini Moves:

• Ideal for local moves where a standard sized removal truck is overkill.
• We are not a packing service, it is your responsibilty to ensure that all items are packed in a way that will keep your items safe and secure during loading/ unloading, and transportation.
• We will take every care when handling your goods. Whilst we do have liability insurance, you are responsible for the packaging of your own goods therefore we are not liable for any damage the may occur as a result of careful handling of your goods.
• Ideally all items should be boxed and ready to be loaded at the agreed time, the exception being any large items such as whitegoods, beds etc however these should be dismantled and ready to be moved.
• If you are not sure whether you need the services of Jays Little Truck or a regular removalist, we will be happy to book a time to drop in and have a look.  It may be in your interest (if you have a lot of home or moving a great distance) to hire a regular removalist.
